To date, the Libyan National Army Forces (LNA) are armed with at least four Pantsir-S1 air defense systems transferred to the UAE.
LNA official Major General Khaled via a Facebook account said that, the LNA air defense system detected unidentified drones entering the benghazi sky near Al-Rajma and Benina bases. The MQ-9 Reaper drone was eventually shot down using the Russian Pantsir-S1.
It was previously thought it was a drone like China's CH-5 or Ch-4 similar to the Predator. However, if you look at the shape and design, it is indeed very similar to the MQ-9 Reaper.
