Hsmilitarycom: Russian high-precision cruise missiles destroyed a NATO ammunition depot and a Ukrainian altileri unit in Slavyansk City in the Donetsk region controlled by Kiev.

"High-precision ground weapons attacked the temporary deployment point of Ukrainian artillery units and ammunition depots on the territory of the ceramic plant in Slavyansk City," the Russian Defense Ministry said.

"Up to 100 military personnel, more than 1,000 artillery shells for the US-made M777 howitzer, as well as about 700 rockets for the MLRS Grad have been destroyed," the ministry said again.

So far, Russian forces have destroyed more than 1,500 unmanned aerial vehicles as well as nearly 4,000 other combat and armored vehicle tanks belonging to Ukraine.

Moscow's military is said to have also destroyed 3,127 field artillery and mortars, as well as 4,128 special military vehicles used by the Kiev army.

Russia's special military operation in Ukraine on February 24, after the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) and the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) enlisted the help of Moscow to defend itself from the attacks of the Kiev army. The DPR and lpr are two regions that broke away from Ukraine.

Russia claimed that the purpose of the special operation was to demilitarize and "denazify" Ukraine. Russian President Vladimir Putin said the military operation was to protect the people of Donbas, who he said had been subjected to harassment and genocide by the Kiev regime for eight years.

In response to Russian military operations in Ukraine, Western countries imposed sanctions on Moscow. They also supplied arms to Ukraine.

The Russian army managed to take full control of the Luhansk Region in Eastern Ukraine. Currently, Russia is focusing on fully seizing the Donetsk Territory.
