China sent 30 fighter jets to Taiwan. Will Taiwan be like Ukraine?

Hsmilitarycom: The People's Liberation Army of China (PLA) sent 30 units of fighter jets to the coast of Taiwan. This was reported by Reuters with reference to the island's Ministry of Defense.

"Taiwan reported the largest Chinese air force attack on its air defense zone since January. Taiwanese fighter jets took to the air to intercept 30 Chinese fighter jets in the latest attack. Taiwan's air defense zone includes two KJ-500 early warning and control aircraft, eight J-11 fighters, six J-16s, four J-10s, two Su-35s and two Su-30s, and six Y-8s. reuters wrote."

Earlier, US President Joe Biden said that the US was ready to use force to protect Taiwan from China. In China, in turn, they threatened to respond to US military intervention in the situation with Taiwan.

Taiwan became an independent state after the 1945-1950 civil war. The island maintains formal diplomatic relations with the 14 UN member states. China considers Taiwan to be its historic territory.

In this case, China claims Taiwan is still its territory even though taiwan is currently considered an independent country.
