Hsmilitarycom: About two days ago, a pair of Russian MiG-31K supersonic fighter-interceptors armed with Kinzhal hypersonic missiles were quickly deployed from the Soltsy air base in the Nizhny Novgorod region to the Chernyakhovsk air base in the Kaliningrad region.

In fact, today, Russia's Kinzhal hypersonic air-to-air missile systems are deployed only 30 kilometers from the NATO border.

The purpose of deploying the Kinzhal hypersonic aviation missile systems in the Kaliningrad region is still unknown.

It is alleged that the MiG-31K fighters were constantly accompanied by Su-30SM and Su-35 fighters. This was probably done in order to prevent foreign military aircraft from approaching the carriers of the "Daggers".

“According to some sources, on February 3 from the Soltsy airbase, Novgorod region, to the Chernyakhovsk airbase, Kaliningrad region, under the leadership of the lead aircraft Tu-154B-2 and accompanied by Su-35 fighters of the Western Military District (on the first part of the route) and Su -30 of the Baltic Fleet (on the second part of the route) made a flight of two "dagger-carrying" MiG-31K fighters ",  said in the publication of the "Telegram" channel "Operational Line".

Experts do not exclude that the deployment of the Kinzhal ARC in the Kaliningrad Region may be due to the deployment of large American military formations on the territory of neighboring NATO countries.
