What was the reason for Germany to cancel the supply of the Leopard 2A4 tank to Poland?

Hsmilitarycom: Russia's military operations in Ukraine made the NATO country seem to lose an old man. Earlier, Germany promised to compensate Poland, since Poland had supplied a number of T-72M1 tanks to Ukraine.

During this time, Poland was overshadowed by sweet dreams related to the German Leopard 2A4 tank. It is known that Germany canceled the supply of such tanks to Poland.

The German authorities announced that they could not give Poland the Leopard 2A4 tank before April next year.

The German decision, infuriated Poland, because the delivery was delayed. However, it was not without reason that it made Germany cancel the delivery of the Leopard 2A4 tank to Poland.

The Germans say that, they are in short supply of titanium from Russia, which is used to make composite armor.

Thus, the delivery of 20 units of the Leopard 2A4 tank to Poland could take a year and a half, and in the near future Germany could not fulfill its obligations to supply such tanks to Poland.

It is known that the tank production plant in Germany stopped temporarily because Germany did not have a source of titanium supply for the production of armored components for tanks and other types of military equipment.

Germany may take up to a year and a half to restore production with titanium supplies from other countries.
