Russia shoots down Ukrainian drone Bayraktar TB2 in borovskoye village
Hsmilitarycom: On April 25, residents of Borovskoye heard gunshots at night. It is known that in the morning, the wreckage of the drone was seen there, one of which was Bayraktar TB2 ukraine.
Photos of the Bayraktar TB2 drone were shared on telegram channels and spread across various social media.
According to witnesses from Borovskoye, at night there was a gunshot from the Russian air defense system (it is not known what type of air system was used).
Earlier, Kursk region Governor Roman Starovoit said that Russian air defense systems in the region shot down two Ukrainian drones, not explaining the type of drone.
The Ukrainian military tried to use this drone to attack Russian territory, however, both drones (the second type is unknown) were detected and destroyed.
A number of sources revealed that the second drone is a ukrainian-made UJ-22 Airborne drone type, but, at present, this data has not been confirmed.
It is not yet clear whether the drone was carrying a weapon. However, experts noticed a small amount of debris from the Bayraktar TB2 drone, although it is quite possible to identify the drone and its own from the fragments found.
How many Bayraktar TB2 drones are operated by the Ukrainian Military is not yet known with certainty, however, experts say Turkey is sending Bayraktar TB2 drones to Ukraine gradually.
