SU-35S delivered to Belarus. Russia asks US to stop supporting kiev military

HSmilitarycom: Multipurpose Russian Su-35S fighters will arrive in Belarus as part of a test of the reaction forces of the Union State.

This was announced on Saturday, January 22, by the Russian Defense Ministry.

The crews of the Su-35S multi-role fighters of the Eastern Military District, involved in checking the response forces of the Union State, have begun to relocate to the territory of the Republic of Belarus,” the report says.

It is noted that during the exercises, the crews of the Russian Aerospace Forces will work out flights to the maximum range, landing at the airfields of Belarus, and well as joint preparations for repeated flights with Belarusian specialists.

A day earlier , two battalions of S-400 Triumph air defense systems were sent to Belarus for military exercises from the Far East.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, air defense systems will reach the training grounds in Belarus both by rail and on their own.

January 18, units from the Russian Armed Forces began to arrive in Belarus as part of an inspection of the reaction forces of the Union State.

The joint exercises of the Russian Federation and Belarus Allied Resolve 2022 will be held from February 10 to 20.

The practical actions of the troops will take place at the Domanovsky.

Gozhsky, Obuz-Lesnovsky, Osipovichsky and Brestsky training grounds.

US Permanent Representative to the UN Linda Thomas-Greenfield noted that Washington is concerned about the Russian-Belarusian military exercises.

She said that reports of military exercises in Belarus, as well as Russia's buildup of a military presence near Ukraine, "are a signal to the United States that the Russian Federation is aggressive towards Ukraine."

On January 19, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov pointed out that Russia had no plans to invade Ukraine.

He also added that Moscow calls on the United States to stop the military support of Kiev , as these actions pose a threat to Russia.
