HSmilitarycom: A US Navy F-35 fighter jet crashed into the South China Sea while landing on the deck of the USS Carl Vinson, the US Pacific Fleet said.

According to the agency, the pilot ejected, his condition is now stable. 

As a result of the crash, seven sailors were injured: three required medical attention at a clinic in Manila in the Philippines, and four more received medical assistance from the medical staff on board the aircraft carrier, the Navy said.

The F-35 is a fifth-generation multirole fighter-bomber developed by Lockheed Martin.

Earlier, in September, a military plane crashed in Lake Worth, Texas.

 As a result of the crash, two houses were severely damaged, three people were injured. 

The ABC13 TV channel reported that the plane crashed in the courtyard of one of the damaged houses, no one on the ground was injured. 

At the same time, 1.3 thousand people were left without electricity.

Last May, an American military plane crashed in Las Vegas. One person died as a result of the disaster.
