Russia prepares special forces to hunt down advanced Ukrainian tanks! Where did the advanced tank come from?

A lot of armored vehicles were sent to Ukraine and all armored vehicles, especially tanks, were given by the west and also NATO.

From various videos circulating, almost all vehicles supplied by western countries and NATO become scrap metal in Ukraine.

Then why is Russia preparing special forces to destroy Ukrainian armored vehicles or tanks. Has Russian intelligence detected the issue of the supply of advanced tanks to Ukraine?

The head of Russia's military training center, Evgeny Arifulin, revealed that Russian Deputy Defense Minister Yunus-Bek Yevkurov had ordered the formation of this team of tank hunters.

Arifulin revealed that this tank hunting force is being trained with a focus on learning how to attack Western combat vehicles.

He also claimed that Russian forces have studied Western tanks that have recently arrived in Ukraine, as well as M1 Abrams tanks that are expected to be delivered in the autumn of this year.

In addition to training anti-tank units, the troops will also be armed with guided missile launchers and reconnaissance drones.

The Managing Director of Special Operations Forces, Guy McCardle, said Western tanks sent to Ukraine were equipped with reactive armor with extra protection.

To deal with Western military vehicles, tank hunters will be equipped with the 9M133 Kornet anti-tank system.

But McCardle said the public announcement of tank hunters was because Moscow was very worried about tanks being sent by the West to Ukraine.

Since the beginning of Russia's invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, Russian government officials have warned Western countries that supplying weapons, such as tanks, to Kiev could result in an escalation of the conflict.

Ukraine has received two Challenger tanks from Britain, two Leopard tanks from Germany, a Cougar armored truck, and a Stryker fighting vehicle from the United States.

Kiev's forces are also expected to acquire Abrams tanks from the US later this year. Last March, the US announced it would send older M1-A1 model tanks, as new versions of tanks take a year or more to arrive on the battlefield.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky publicly thanked Western allies for supplying tanks. Zelensky assured Ukraine would form a stronger tank force.
