Ukraine admits it is unable to contain the impact of Russia's Kh-47M2 Kinzhal missile

Hsmilitarycom: Russian Aerospace Forces again launched high-precision missiles into the territory of Ukraine, and the attack Destroyed the central front of Vinnytsia Oblast.

Ukraine's military claimed to be unable to contain Russia's hypersonic missile launched, the Kh-47M2 Kinzhal. The Kh-47M2 Kinzhal hypersonic missile attack hit the military base from an unknown platform. 

The Ukrainian Air Force Command, believes that it is most likely that the missile was fired from a Mikoyan MiG-31K fighter jet. 

In its statement, the Ukrainian Air Force admitted it did not have any weapons capable of matching the prowess of the Russian missiles.

"The tactical and technical characteristics of this missile do not allow the existing air defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, to effectively detect and destroy it," reads a statement by the Ukrainian Air Force Command. 

The recognition of the Ukrainian military corresponds to the fact that this missile produced since 2017 has a maximum speed of up to 14, 700 kilometers per hour. 

At that speed, the Kh-47M2 Kinzhal hypersonic missile, capable of destroying a range of 2000 kilometers if fired from the MiG-31, and 3000 kilometers if launched from the Tupolev Tu-22M3M bomber.

Until this news was passed down, there were no detailed details regarding the losses caused by the attack either from the Ukrainian side, or the Russian military.
