Russia deployed three units of MiG-31E fighter jets to Kaliningrad, Kaliningradskaya Oblast, which is near the border of Poland and Lithuania.

Reporting from RIA Novosti, three miG-31E fighter jets carry a Kh-47M2 Kinzhal (X-47M2 Killjoy) nuclear-capable hypersonic missile.

The movement of this MiG-31E fighter jet invited a strong response from Poland and Lithuania. Both members of the North Atlantic Pact. Not only Poland and Lithuania, Finland also condemned Russia's military actions.

While moving towards Kaliningrad, the Russian military MiG-31E fighter jet was deemed to be in violation of Finland's sovereign Defense.

They assumed The Russian military's MiG-31E fighter jets are flying in Finnish airspace, near the city of Porvoo, Gulf of Finland, 150 kilometers from Russia.

In addition, Lithuania believes that this Russian military action is a response to the country's actions that have imposed an entry ban on Russian goods.

This was done by Lithuania in support of EUROPEAN UNION sanctions against Russia, due to military operations launched into Ukraine since February 24, 2022.

The MiG-31E fighter jet is one of the launch platforms of the Kh-47M2 Kinzhal nuclear-capable hypersonic missile. The missile designed by the Ministry of Defense of Russia and produced since 2017, is one of the deadliest weapons possessed by the Russian air force.

With a maximum speed of 14,700 kilometers per hour and can be controlled with GLONASS control devices, this missile is capable of destroying targets as far as 2,000 kilometers.

It is very clear, if the three NATO countries are worried if these MiG-31E fighter jets show their madness and of course the country stays in name.
