Xi jinping says China supports Russia safeguarding its sovereignty
Hsmilitarycom: China said it was prepared to support Russia in terms of protecting sovereignty and national security.
This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the words of Chinese President Xi Jinping, saying during a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"China is ready to continue to support each other with Russia on critical issues such as sovereignty and security, as well as strengthen strategic cooperation between the two countries," the Chinese leader said.
Xi Jinping stressed that Beijing is determined to strengthen and deepen coordination with Moscow in major international and regional organizations such as the UN, BRICS and SCO.
He is convinced that China and Russia are trying to create a more just and rational international order.
Earlier, the President of the People's Republic of China, in a conversation with Putin, expressed full responsibility for resolving the situation in Ukraine.
"Each of the relevant parties must take a responsible position, contributing to the proper resolution of the crisis in Ukraine," the politician urged.
