According to Austin, the Pentagon is ready to give Kyiv a large number of weapons. At the same time, it should be noted that the decision for the delivery of weapons to Ukraine is no later than June 15, 2022.
Answering reporters' questions regarding the U.S. decision to send large quantities of weapons to Ukraine whether it had ever happened before. Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin noted that all necessary assistance would be provided to Kyiv.
"The United States is ready to give everything and help Ukraine succeed ," the head of the US Department of Defense said.
