U.S. MQ-1C Gray Eagle and Turkish Bayraktar TB2 drones useless in Ukraine?

Hsmilitarycom: Ukrainian military officials believe that the use of the MQ-1C Gray Eagle drone is dangerous, and Turkey's Bayraktar-TB2 is considered useless. This was reported by Foreign Policy, citing sources.

According to the publication, Ukrainian and US officials are concerned that russia's air defense system could bring down gray eagle. Pilots believed that this drone would not be able to "survive" more than one or two missions.

"It is very dangerous to use such expensive drones in our case because of enemy air defense. This is not Afghanistan," said one Ukrainian pilot.

The source also noted that Ukraine has restricted the use of Turkey's Bayraktar TB2 drone in Ukraine.

"They were very useful and important in the early days, stopping the columns, but now that they have built a good air defense system, they are almost useless," said one of the pilots.

Earlier, the Ukrainian military recognized the ineffectiveness of weapons supplied by the West and reduced the scale of their use. Almost all the weapons of us and NATO shipments were destroyed by Russia.
