Russia cites Impact on U.S. if it sends advanced weapons to Ukraine

Hsmilitarycom: If the US decides to supply Kyiv with weapons capable of hitting targets on the territory of the Russian Federation, the country will be forced to attack US territory to prevent shipments. This was put forward by the military political scientist Alexander Perendzhiev.

Earlier, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov negatively assessed the next US military aid package to Ukraine, which included the MLRS HIMARS (High Mobility Artillery Rocket System) and long-range missiles for them.

Representatives of the Russian diplomatic department also added that the supply increases the likelihood of military clashes between the Russian Federation and the US.

According to Perendzhiyev, the problem is that the USA will supply weapons that can reach not only the Bryansk or Belgorod regions, but also the Moscow region. "That is why such a shipment could force Russia to launch a preemptive strike," He shared his point of view.

In essence, as noted by political scientists, That strikes can be carried out even in the process of forming supplies on the territory of the USA. Perendzhiev recalled that Russia had submarines near the United States, and the situation was being monitored.

"They can hit the battleship and the territory itself, because these weapons pose a direct danger to Russia," the expert explained, expressing confidence that if the US leadership did not hear this warning, the attack would have occurred.

He also warned that military aircraft could also be shot down, and not only in Ukraine, but also in neutral spaces. A direct military conflict between Russia and the United States is impossible, the expert concludes.

Earlier, a United States administration official said that on the night of June 1, the country's authorities would officially announce a new $700 million military aid package to Ukraine, including MLRS, including HIMARS.
