Poland's Crazy Idea angered the Russians and wanted to sink Poland

Hsmilitarycom: Polish officials proposed to Western countries to deploy nuclear weapons to Ukraine in the midst of its war with Russia. Moscow called it a crazy idea and threatened to eliminate Warsaw.

"The idea of supplying nuclear weapons to Ukraine in the midst of a conflict is tantamount to provoking a nuclear conflict in the center of Europe and is absolutely insane," said Russian State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin.

Moscow's reaction was in response to a statement by a member of Parliament who is also Poland's former foreign minister, Radoslaw Sikorski. He said that the West has the right to do so.

"With such members of parliament, Europe will have much more serious problems than they face today refugees, record inflation, energy crisis," Volodin said.

"Sikorski sparked a nuclear conflict in the center of Europe. He didn't think about the future of either Ukraine or Poland. If the proposal is realized, these countries will disappear, along with the rest of Europe," he said, as quoted by Pravda.

Volodin also questioned the mental health of the veteran Polish diplomat, suggesting that the diplomat be examined by a psychiatrist, hand over his Member of Parliamentary mandate, and stay at home under supervision from now on.

"It is precisely because of people like Sikorski, it is not only necessary to liberate Ukraine from Nazi ideology, but also demilitarize, ensuring the country's non-nuclear status," the Russian official said.

Sikorski, who led Poland's Foreign Ministry between 2007 and 2014, floated the idea in an interview with Ukraine's Espreso TV on Saturday.
