Reports of Russian President Vladimir Putin's deteriorating health are not true, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said in an interview with French television channel TF1.

Sergei Lavrov also answered reporters' questions about Putin's health, pointing out that the Russian leader appears in public every day and everyone can see him on tv, social Media and listen to his speech.

"I don't think that a sane person can see in this person the signs of a particular disease or illness. I leave it to the conscience of those who spread such rumors," he asserted.

In late March, Lavrov also denied information about Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu's health problems, calling the report "nonsense" and "outright lies."
