Russia warns west and NATO allies not to send heavy weapons to Ukraine

hsmilitarycom: Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov warned Western countries against arms supplies to Ukraine, which is capable of carrying out attacks on the territory of the Russian Federation.

In his opinion, in this case, they would be a step towards an unacceptable escalation.

In an interview with RT Arabic, he stressed that the West is calling for defeating Russia on the battlefield, but for this it needs to pump up ukrainian nationalists, the Ukrainian regime. We are talking about weapons that can reach Russia, which Zelensky openly demanded.

According to Lavrov, Moscow warned the West in the most serious way. He added that these countries are basically waging a proxy war with the Russian Federation with the hands, bodies, brains of Ukrainian neo-Nazis.

However, the delivery of dangerous weapons to Kyiv is the most serious step towards an unacceptable escalation.

"I hope the sane mind in the West, there are still some of them left, understands this," he added.

Earlier, Die Zeit reported that an agreement had been made among NATO countries on refusing to supply certain weapons systems to Ukraine.

Brussels believes that this will reduce the risk of a direct military confrontation between the alliance countries and Russia.

In particular, there are concerns that the Kremlin may regard the supply of Western tanks and fighter jets as the start of the war and take retaliatory measures.
