Japanese F-15 fighter jets approach Russian Tu-95MS bombers in Asia-Pacific region
Hsmilitarycom: The Japanese Air Force's F-15 fighter jets approached the Russian Tu-95MS bomber, which was participating in a joint air patrol in the Asia-Pacific region of the Russian Air Force and the Chinese Air Force.
The video was recorded from one of the other Tu-95MS bombers. At the time of approach, only a few tens of meters were left between the military aircraft.
Japanese F-15 fighter jets approached the Russian Air Force aircraft from a left-wing console. Further in the frame, the same fighter jet is already flying on the right side of the Tu-95.
Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that an air group consisting of a Tu-95ms strategic missile carrier from the Air Force of the Russian Federation and a Hong-6k bomber from the Chinese Air Force conducted a 13-hour patrol over Japan and northeast China.
The flight took place in the framework of military-technical cooperation between the two countries. The aircraft is escorted by Su-30cm fighter jets. Russian missile carriers escorted aircraft from South Korea and Japan at some stage of the route.
