The delivery of fighter jets and spare parts was announced by Jonh Kirby during the briefing. However, it did not specify what type of fighter jets were sent to Ukraine by NATO and US allies.

"Ukraine received fighter jets, as well as aircraft parts from U.S. allies," he said.

A Pentagon spokesman said the United States had helped "provide some additional parts to help meet the needs of their aircraft, but we are not transporting the entire aircraft" to Ukraine.

For the first time, the United States agreed to give Kyiv such a powerful asset that a few weeks ago some Biden administration officials deemed the risk of escalation too great, including 11 Mi-17 helicopters; 18 155-mm howitzers and 300 other Switchblade drones.

It was previously known that Estonia sent military equipment to Ukraine. The equipment estonia sent is, anti-tank missiles, howitzers, anti-tank mines, recoilless anti-tank guns, automatic weapons, ammunition, disposable grenade launchers and hand grenades.

However, until now the Estonian government has not provided official information regarding the delivery of military equipment to Ukraine.
