Bayraktar TB2 drone destroys Russian warship Moskva
Hsmilitarycom: Ukrainian sources said that the Turkish-made Bayraktar TB2 drone was involved in the destruction of the Russian-owned Moskva warship.
Moskva warships are considered the largest compared to other warships. However, Russian sources said the Moskva warship was destroyed by a bullet blast and sank as it was sequenced to port.
Sources said that Ukraine claimed the Moskva warship had been attacked with a Neptune anti-ship missile launched by Ukrainian forces.
The Telegram channel of an independent think tank based in Rusi, Strategy and Technology Analysis posted claims that Ukraine's Bayraktar TB2 drone was used to divert attention before the Russian warship was hit by a Neptune missile. However, the post has since been deleted.
According to Arkady Babchenko, a Russian military journalist and vocal critic of Vladimir Putin, Ukraine's Bayraktar TB2 drone disabled the radar station of the warship Moskva, leaving the warship unable to detect and intercept incoming missiles. However, this information is not official from the Russian defense ministry.
Russia claims to have shot down a large number of Ukrainian Tb2 drones. However, Ukrainian sources continue to publish videos of Bayraktar TB2 destroying Russian armored vehicles, convoys, command centers and air defense systems.
