Ukrainian Bayraktar TB2 drone was shot down near Kyiv
HSMilitarycom: A Turkish-made drone was shot down near Kyiv, it is suspected that the Bayraktar TB2 was shot by an anti-aircraft missile, causing the drone to suffer serious destruction.
Exactly when this drone was shot down is unknown, however, this is the first documented fact regarding the destruction of the Byaraktar TB2 UAV on Ukrainian territory to date.
To date, the Turkish Company has delivered additional Bayraktar TB2 to Ukraine at least twice via neighboring Poland. Over the past three weeks, an additional 24 Bayraktar TB2 have been delivered to Ukraine.
Kyiv has signed contracts for additional drones with private companies, as reported in Ankara, large quantities of Bayraktar TB2 are expected to be delivered to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
A few weeks ago, Russia's pantsir S missile destroyed the Bayraktar TB2 and destroyed the drone's warehouse. The video of the destruction of Bayraktar TB2 was published on various social media.
But keep in mind, the Bayraktar TB2 became a popular drone during the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Some of his work has received appreciation from the Ukrainian military.
The Ukrainian armed forces claim the Bayraktar TB2 has destroyed 200 Russian tanks and 20 armored vehicles during the invasion.
