China and 5 other countries are interested in Russia's SU-57 fighter jet

Hsmilitarycom: After Algeria, Vietnam, India, China and Turkey announced their intention to buy the new Russian fifth-generation Su-57 fighter, five more states expressed similar interest.

Kazakhstan, which is a member of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, is interested in replacing the Su-27, whose service life is coming to an end.

Ethiopia, which has tense relations with Egypt and Sudan, is also considering alternatives to replace previously acquired Su-27s.

Egypt has traditionally been one of the mass buyers of Russian weapons after the change of government in 2013.

The new Su-57 fighters will allow Cairo to gain an advantage over the American F-15EX, which Israel intends to acquire.

Myanmar, which often comes into conflict with Bangladesh, has also expressed interest in the Su-57 against the backdrop of progressing military-technical cooperation with Russia.

Malaysia may purchase new fighter jets as part of its air force modernization.

Earlier, the Public News Service reported that the "killer" appearance of the Russian Su-57 fighter is associated with the design features of the latest machine.
